Xi’an Exssun International Interpreter’s Club
Xi’an Exssun International Interpreter’s Club is a non-commercial and non-profitable organization established by Xi’an Exssun International Translation and Cultural Exchange Co., Ltd. The purpose of this club is to set up a platform where professional translators and interpreters, English-speaking professionals, English fans, and foreigners working or studying in China can meet, share and make friends.
The club will be an ideal arena where English-speaking professionals meet, share, and seek opportunities.
Application of Membership
Professionals who meet the following criteria can apply for the membership by filling in the attached form.

Working language
English is the working language of this club. All the members and volunteers must speak English in all activities. All the signs and documents of this club must be in English or English-Chinese bilingual so that foreign members can easily understand.
How the club works

Organize interpreters’ salon periodically
-
Invite celebrities working in cultural exchange or international business to make presentations or share their life experience.

Invite professionals returned from overseas or foreigners to share their study and life experience.

Recommend interpreters for conferences or business talks

Organize interactive actives among members and invite members to make presentation.

organize virtual conference to practice interpreting skill

Organize themed seminar to promote a better understanding among members and to improve their professional skills.

Develop the cooperation and communication between the club and other interpreters’ organization world over.

Enhance the professionalism of members.
Responsibility of members:

Attend all activities of the club punctually.

Collect the information on translation, international trade, investment, international organization, and joint ventures etc., and share this information with other members of the club.

Work as a volunteer for at least one time in each session (5 times).

Recommend VIP guests and venue for the club.

Bring in new members for the club. Each member shall bring in at least 2 new members in each session.

Help other members with their problems on translation study, English study, business and employment, and build up a strong friendship with among members.
Time and Venue
Basically there will be a gathering once a month at weekend. Every time the meeting will last 2~4 hours. The venue will be at conference rooms, tea house, bars or outdoors.
Expenses
All the expenses will be paid by members themselves. Everybody goes to Dutch in all actives.
Special Notice
All the members must obey the rules of the club and are good team players.
Speaking Chinese is strictly prohibited except for special announcement must be given in Chinese or in the interpretation practice.

西安艾克森国际口译俱乐部是由西安艾克森翻译文化传播有限公司组织创立的一家非商业赢利性俱乐部。其宗旨是：为专业译员，外语工作者，英语爱好者，以及外籍人士提供一个信息交流的平台，在交流中促进会员的进步与发展，为西安的口译事业储备高级人才库，促进翻译事业的专业化发展。
会员资格申请：
获取国家相关翻译专业资格等级证书的人士
高校教师, 外语导游
接受过口译专业培训的人士
企业及政府机关的在职翻译
外企经理或员工
英语爱好者
海归留学人士
外籍人士
符合以上条件的人士，请填写相关表格，初审合格后即可成为俱乐部会员
工作语言：
英语为艾克森口译俱乐部的工作语言，所有的会员以及志愿者都必须在俱乐部活动中讲英语。为了方便外籍会员，所有的文字标示及内部文件资料全部采用中英文对照或英语。
活动方式及内容：
定期举行口译沙龙
邀请口译界、以及中外文化交流与商务交流方面的社会知名人士发表主题演讲，分享从业经验。
邀请海归，外籍人士等分享生活及学习经历
为各种商务会议，企事业单位推介口译译员
组织会员进行互动式交流，主题演讲等
组织口译模拟活动
举办研讨活动，促进会员之间的交流，提高会员的业务技能。
发展俱乐部同世界各地同行业组织的合作与交流。
推动口译工作的专业化和职业化发展。
会员责任：
积极准时参与俱乐部的各项活动。
积极搜集整理翻译、国际贸易、投资、国际机构、国外行业协会、企业相关信息，在俱乐部内部分享。
每期（5次）活动至少担任一次志愿者，在志愿者活动中自身得到提升与锻炼。
积极推荐嘉宾与活动场所。
积极发展具有相当英语水准的会员，在每期（5次）活动结束前至少发展两名会员。
在翻译学习、英语学习、求职就业等方面以积极的态度帮助其他会员排忧解难。
活动时间及地点：
原则上每月举行一次活动，活动的时间一定在周末，每次至少2~4个小时。活动地点基本确定在商务写字楼会议室、茶秀、酒吧或户外。
活动经费：
资金自筹，活动经费由会员AA制均摊。
注意事项：
所有会员必须具有团队合作的精神，必须遵守俱乐部的规章制度。
在俱乐部的所有活动中，除过口译模拟，严禁讲中文。
